The people behind the Freedom Stack.
A small founding team running the project under the v0.1 charter. As the governance portal ships, stewardship transitions to elected councils — sortition, supermajority, recall, all per the governance annex.
Two-person founding core
Initial stewards under the constitution. Both are charter signatories and answerable to the same rules as everyone else.
Kristian Mandrup
Founder · Architect
Software architect with two decades of experience building large-scale systems. Wrote the founding charter and most of the v0.1 specs. Stewards the technical architecture and the manifesto.
Javier Cabrera
Co-founder · Systems
Backend and AI-systems engineer. Owns reliability, automation, and the agent infrastructure across the studio. Stewards the governance and treasury implementations as they ship.
A founding role, not a permanent one
Until the governance portal ships, the founding stewards make day-to-day decisions under the v0.1 charter. The charter caps founder authority — no permanent leadership, no veto over rights, no extraction.
Once governance is live, decisions move to elected councils with sortition seats, supermajority thresholds for constitutional changes, and unconditional delegate recall. The founders become regular members of the collective.
Track the transition on the transparency page.

Contributors don't need to be founders. The worker guild spec describes how contribution rights, attribution, and reputation work.
